When I insert a floppy into the FD the computer locks up
and the LED on the front of the FD blinks 9 times over and
over. Only way to stop it and remove floppy is to shut
down. Running Win XP Home with a 6.4 HD, CD-ROM, SONY USB
Optical Mouse with Memory Stick Port, HP 660C Printer.
About three months before this problem started the
computer was upgraded.
