I am migrating to XP Home from W98 and, although I can
print to my 1120C and the printer control panel shows it
as connected and working. However, on my old 98 machine I
had a separate control window to run diagnostics,
reallign/clean the jets etc but I can't find it in XP. I
can't load it from the original disk either - get a
message saying disk is not readable. HP's web site says
the 1120C is not supported by XP - can this be possible?

If you are UPGRADING to XP, DISCONNECT the printer BEFORE upgrading.

If you have already upgraded, uninstall and reinstall, using
http://www.coribright.com/Windows/Article%20One.htm

It is compatible. Drivers are included in XP
