My Pictures and My Videos - not working!

My operating system is Windows XP. I changed the target location of My Documents folder rigth-clicking My Documents shortcut in the Start menu and choosing another folder. That changed the location of My Pictures and My Videos folders which are subfolders
of My Documents too. After that I had to reinstall Windows XP because of a crash. I installed fresh copy. Now I'm not able to open My Pictures and My Videos folders which were my target folders before the reinstallation. I receive error message: Folder not
accessible. Access is denied!
Can anybody help me. How can I make these folders accessible again. I had a lot of information in them.
