Theres a really annoying program thats loading on the
start up of the computer and i know how to do this on
previous versions of windows and have tried everything i

There are a few places to check:
1) Start - all programs - startup
2) Start - run - and type 'msconfig' look at the startup tab.
3) Some programs might not be listed there and/or they just re-assert
themselves into the start menu on the next boot. In that case you can go
into the registry and look under...
-- hkey local machine\software\microsoft\windows\current version\run
AND
-- hkey current user\software\microsoft\windows\current version\run
....of course ALWAYS backup the registry (or just the key) before you edit
when you are not sure of the effects.
Hope this helped!!

A good program to get which is free and simpler to use than msconfg is
Microsoft PowerToys

this includes tweakui and lets you tick or untick the programs you want at
start up

Although TweakUI does many useful things, this is not one of
them.
