I connect to the internet then get a message come up that
states that due to failure of the Remote Procedure Call
RPC I have a violation of the NT AUTHORITY/SYSTEM and as
such the PC gets switched off. The machine is only a few
months old and has been working fine up until last night.
Would the RPC patch on the Microsoft site fix this issue??

You did not apply the critical update patch a month ago and
now you have an infected computer.
You must clean the infection and patch your computer.
