I see you are posting using the web interface. By default the web
interface does not expand message threads. Click the plus sign next to
each message to see the replies to the message. Of course the catch 22
here is if you haven't been able to figure that out you're probably not
going to see this reply either.

A better option may be to use a newsreader for these groups instead of
the web interface. Windows XP includes Outlook Express which is both
an e-mail client and a newsreader. To view this group using your
default newsreader click this link -
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windowsxp.basic.
