Playing Video clips from digital

Does anyone know how i can play a video clip that is like
10-30secs long from a digital camra to Windows Media
player. its an AVI file. i tryed doing it before but it
wouldnt work no picture was showing up it was playin but
no picture can someone tell me what i have to do to play
a clip from a digital camra? thanks email me bye

You need to capture it from the camcorder to the PC.
