SHUTTING DOWN IN 60 SECONDS

I keep on getting a message that mycomputer will be
shutting down in 60 seconds (a timer then starts). I have
no control over it. Unfortuantely I do not have the text
of the error as it does not take place at the computer
from where this message is being posted. PLEASE HELP -
