Folder view settings

I am continually getting my folder view settings changed
everytime I restart the machine, even though I have
selected "Remember each folder's view setting." Why is
that? The other account on the machine does not have
this problem, it always remembers the folder views.

This is because XP only "remembers" about 400 folder views. See
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm, Line 2, left column for a fix
that will increase this number to 8000.
