Cannot Completely Uninstall

I do not know if this is the right newsgroup, so bear with me I am new to
this.
I have XP Pro with SP1.
I am having problems with my printer (HP DeskJet 656c), when I try to
uninstall it, it will not completely uninstall. Somehow, I have it set as
"Print to File".
I originally wanted to uninstall it and then re-install again, but having
problems and I need it because I have been trying for 5 days. Some women
will think that this is typical of a male 5 days and not asking for
directions.
I tried Norton/Symantec but they are no help, there fix is pay me first.

What's Norton got to do with uninstalling printer?

You might try to physically uninstall the printer: unplug and replug.
