98 programs wont load into XP

I can get the drivers to work but the soft ware wont load into Xp ie: Camera, scanner, printer anyhelp will be great

Most peripherals do not need software if XP drivers are present.

Check the manufacturer's web site to see if they provide XP drivers and
software for whatever models you are referring to.

You can probably use the Scanner and Camera wizard (located in the Start
Menu under Programs > Accessories) if nothing else works. Most image
viewing/editing programs will have an "Acquire" menu option that will let
you use a scanner.

Have you tried uninstalling the software and then reinstalling it? If the dirvers work, a simple reinstall may do the trick.
