Something you might try to help you from getting booted
again is to:
Click Start
Click Settings and then Control Panel
Click Network Connections Right Mouse Click on the
connection you use (i.e. Dial up) and select properties
Click on "Advanced"
Check the Box for Internet Firewall

This has worked for some people I know but you may have
to get the Worm Removal tool first and remove the worm
then do the above steps. The worm removal tool is a
relatively small file you can put it on one floppy disk
(so if you can't stay on long enough to download it
borrow someone elses computer for a few minutes and
download it to a floppy disk) once you run the removal
you wont get booted until you get the virus again (and
you will if you dont get patched. But setting up your
firewall has prevented some people I know from getting
hit with the worm a second time long enough to download
the patch. It (the worm removal tool) is also something
that can be emailed to you if you have access to the
internet some where other than the infected computer so
you could have someone email it to you and then save it
to the floppy and take it the computer to run it.
Hopefully this helps you.
