Hi all,
A few weeks ago I "cleaned" the rigistry and it would seem things got a
bit messed up. When I connect the camera (USB), the what-do-you-want-to-do
prompt box comes up and when selecting the "copy pictures to a folder
using the Microsoft Scanner and Camera wizard" ...... nothing happens.
Is someone able to help me return this function ?
TIA
jona.

Hi Jona,
I would suggest that you use the system restore utility to restore your system to a date prior to
the 'registry cleaning' that you did.
Use System restore to Undo changes if problems occur

Thanks, but restore points to prior to that reg clean episode have been erased
when sys restore was disabled to remove the 'CoolWebSearch' spyware.
