Not Enough Temp Space

Can anyone help,

I'm trying to use my cd copier software to copy a CD(for backup
purposes of course) .
I only have one CDR. so It's a copy to HD and then copy to blank CD,
but when I click on the copy button I get the following message which
to say the least confuses me

"you need 487.7mb of temp space to back up the track. Your temp
directory has 4095.9mb of useable space. Please make more space
available"

Now call me dim, but isn't 4095 BIGGER than 487, well it was when I
was at school.

OH I'm using ROXIO Easy CD creator 5.3.5.10c.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Have you checked that the temp directory is actually empty?
