Does anybody know how to turn off the registration of loginnames being
stored on the computer. If i sign in with a specific name, that name is
stored under the current user account. The only way to delete that name is;
1.. In the Stored User Names and Passwords dialog box, click the
credential that you want, and then click Remove. The following message is
displayed:

The selected logon information will be deleted.
2.. Click OK.
3.. In the Stored User Names and Passwords dialog box, click Close.
Is there a registry entry to disable the loginnames being stored?

Thx.

Greetings Herrie,

Yes there is -- just download and run the following .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/disablenetcreds.reg

You'll need to reboot to see the change.

Hi,

I have downloaded 4.7 for XP and now no longer able to display or see
photos in the conversation window. Older versions of Messenger had a
setting for this in the personal tab of options, but it is not there
in 4.7

Does anyone know if this has been completely removed from 4.7, or have
Microsoft hidden it away somewhere else?

TIA,

Andy
