install problem

installing windows xp home, and during the installing
devices part with 34 minutes left the machine shuts down
by it self. i restart and try to finish and it does the
same again. I am building the computer myself,

has asus p4c800 deluxe m/o board
512 ram (pny ddr pc 3200)
ati all-in-wonder video card (128) not pro or xl
2.8 prescott processor with ht


running a dvd-burning drive and dvd rom drive,
it will do same the both drives, does not matter what
drive run the install disk from.

any help would be great!

[Hotfix]

Have you by any chance forgot to attach the CPU cooler power cable?
Have you set shutdown temperature in BIOS?
Have you tested your RAM (hint: memtestx86)
Have you checked your PSU?
