BlankCan someone tell me what "file is ready for archiving" means? Also =
what does "for fast searching, allowindex service to index this file" =
mean? Also what does the "read only" option do?

Ready for archivimg simply means the file is compressed. If you choose
indexing for your computer it is a method used to find file faster but also
causes a lot more hard file activity. Most users turn it off. (indexing). In
windows XP the read only attribute has little meaning to the user but is
used by the operating system as a sort of flag. You can ignore the attribute
for all practical purposes.
