Low Video quality

I just installed Windows XP professional onto my computer,
but when I started it up the video color quality was set
on low and I can't adjust the resolution. When I looked in
the device manager it said that the video driver wasn't
working. I tried updating the video driver but that didn't
solve the problem and its still not working.

What windows did you have on it before and did you check to see if your
system is compatible with xp. What video card do you have...?
