I have a Compaq Evo running XP and an 87 key Olympic PS2
keyboard which will not work correctly. It types incorrect
letters, has a very slow repeat rate, and sometimes
freezes completely. It works fine on other laptops running
NT and 98, also runs well on desktops running 98 and 95.
Have downloaded and run a bios update from Compaq but no
improvement.
Can anyone solve this please.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Regards
PJ

Have you looked for a driver update from Olympic? There
should be an FCC ID on the keyboard if you don't know the
exact model. There may not be any XP drivers... You might
consider getting a USB or new PS/2 keyboard if you can't
find XP drivers for the one you have.
