I know I have a cheap powersupply, but how can I find out how many watts my
powersupply has without taking the computer apart. Is there a free program
somewhere that will let me do this or does XP provide this somewhere?

You can't. But all you probably need to do is to
open the case of your PC (the manual for your PC
should give details) and read the label on the power supply.

No.

Outside of opening the case and reading the PS label, no, there is no
way for you to know how much power the thing puts out.

Why do you need to know?
