Windows XP Disc not detected in CD Drive

I know there is an updated driver that fixes this problem
but I can't find it any more.

XP does not detected media in the drive and yes there is
blank media in the drive. I downloaded an updated driver
to fix this on another PC but can I find it again. No...
can anyone please help me locate it.
