Current config: new mobo SYAN w/ Intel celeron (tualain)
1.3 GHz CPU (taken out of an HP 531w)
60 GB Maxtor in two partitions (basically 40 & 20)
XP Home installed( and has already gone thru two
reactivations)
also an HP CD-rW (from the same 531w PC from HP)

The HP system I had , had lousy power, and the board kept
having probs. HP is no help with those Trigem Lomita
boards, so after changing power sujpply twice finally got
new case.

Bad idea, motherboard not quite compatible.

Get new motherboard. Good idea, except it wouldnt accept
hard drive (seagate from the original 531w).

I put it in my old IBM and it worked fine, but the IBM
has had it and I am going to take the Hard drive out.

I want to add the seagate 40 gb (which originally came
from the same machine (HP 531w) as the CPU did.

I reformatted that drive and installed Windows ME on it
in the IBM. Win ME also has product activation.

Will I have problems getting this hard drive back into
my "reconfigured" machine. I don't want the blue screen
of death.
