Compatibility problem with new iOmega zip drive

Has anyone had a problem with Windows XP after installing
a zip drive? I've had scrolling after booting up and
many different messages on screen before it settles
down. Now it's lost entirely and I can't boot up even in
Safe Mode.

I currently have 2 pc's withzip drives and not one problem been working
great and still is, which zip drive are you using.
