This is a firewall box that pops up every minute or less. I sure could use
some help. I know nothing about fixing such things. Whatever it is. Below
is what the box says:

Norton Personal Firewall
Internet Access Control
OWMngr.exe. is attempting to access the Internet.
Threat Level High Risk
At 7:26PM on 6/8/2003, the following communication was detected.
Application:C\WINDOWS\system32\OWMnger.ext.
Protocal TCP (Outbound)
Remote Address: ads.onwecmedia.com (216.93.172.120): http (80)
Local Address:Service Port ####
The file is not infected with a virus. There is no autoconfiguration data
for the application.
This application is in the Windows folder and does not contain company
information.
This application is loaded from the registry.
This application does not have a digital signature or the digital signature
is invalid.

Permit

Block

It does not matter if I hit permit or block it keeps popping up every minute
or less
and stops me from doing whatever I am working on.

Whatever help you may have will be appreciated.

Thank You, Betty

Betty,

The following site provides removal instructions.

http://www.mvps.org/inetexplorer/Darnit.htm#owmngr

This may be of help to tighten up security (if that is why you caught
this...whatever it is)
Recommended Minimal Security Settings
