I have a motherboard with an SiS 650 onboard display
driver. I have just downloaded the latest driver from SiS.
A program that i have and NEED does not operate properly
and the program developer says it is because my driver is
not Open GL compatible. How do i check if this is true,
and if so, what can i do about it?

Greetings --
You could try installing your manufacturer-provided video drivers.
OpenGL support is purely a function of the video card drivers, and not
the OS. Contact the manufacturer of your video card to obtain the
most recent WinXP-specific drivers.
Programs that Require OpenGL Support May Not Run in Windows XP

You can see if the manufacturer of your video card has developed an OpenGL
ICD by looking at the following registry key and see if it is populated with

Sorry my last post was sent prematurely...
You can check if you have an ICD by looking at the following registry key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\OpenGLDrivers]
Check to see if there is something there other than just being empty. For
Example I have updated drivers for my nVidia card and it has the following
entry:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\OpenGLDrivers\RIVATNT]
Hope that helps.
