In a nutshell; I receive error 41 about my two CD-ROMs,
both which worked till yesterday. Windows, through CMOS,
can detect both my CD ROMs and knows which manufacturers
made the, and loads the proper drivers. But then they
aren't there! Explorer can't find them, System INFO can't
find them, Device Manager shows them with yellow
explanation point! I've tried reloading the drivers,
taken them out and checked all the connections, swapped
the Master for the slave and back again, there just isn't
any reason for hardware failure. There isn't any device
conflicts that I can see... so what's up with that? Any
ideas appreciated... and thanks for your trouble
