I have an HP5500HDN color laserjet that is networked. I
am trying to install the printer driver. At the end of
installation I get Spooler SubSystem App has encountered
a problem and needs to close. Printer driver will not
load. I have found a fix at the Microsoft website
(KB810894) and tried it but it didn't work in this case.
I have an HP5Si hooked to this computer via the parallel
port and shared. I have deleted this printer, unhooked it
from the computer and tried to install the HP5500 and
still get the message. Any help would be appreciated.
