I have installed something (I think it is the invida video card drivers)
that now every time i start my machine i get a open window like explorering
with my computer at the top it displays C:\WINSOWS\System32. & of course in
the lower window it displays the contents of this windows\system32 folder.
I am guessing that a file is trying to load or something that is placed in
this system32 folder or somewhere in the registy is calling for this file.
Could someone tell me how to find out what is going on and stop this window
from opening up each & every time i start up my machine.
thanks donny

Hi Donny,
You have it right, something is opening explorer instead of starting a
program.
Look for a shortcut which in incomplete. For instance the
Target may list c:\Program Files\Program.
The executable is missing so it opens explorer at that slot.
Check the Startup Menu first. If nothing is there go to start - run - and
enter msconfig than click on the startup tab and look here.
Good hunting

Look in the usual startup locations for an item that has a path that
includes a long filename and/or spaces. It should have a full set of quote
marks. Sometimes one or both are missing.
