When I click on the "Help And Support" option in the
start menu, the cursor changes for a few seconds then
goes back to the normal pointer. No help and support
screen comes up!?

If you've run Toni Arts Easy Cleaner on your XP installation, and allowed it
to delete what it found in the registry, then your Help and Support will not
run. Easy Cleaner deletes the values of 2 necessary Registry keys. See my
web site, www.dougknox.com and go to the Windows XP section. Follow the
appropriate link for Fix Window XP Help. This small VB Script will repair
the damage done by Easy Cleaner. Note: other Registry cleaning programs
cause the same problem.

I have had no basic problem with JV16, but I do not use
the easy portion.
Some great help at your Site and I, for one at least,
greatly appreciate it.

Don't know what Toni Arts Easy Cleaner is. But I did run
TweakXP. Anyway, the resolution was to re-register the
helpctr:
helpctr -regserver.

It's ok. Your not missing anything. Help and support program is
butt****ing useless. Your better off going online and search engine to
a good hack site. They would have something useable.
