I installed a new IDE driver from Asus, now auto reboot
kicks in at the Windows splash screen with a slight Blue
Screen of Death. Even safe mode reboots!
I ran repair from the XP disk, no joy!
Updated the Bios!no joy!
Tried the same thing on a new XP installation by loading
that Asus driver. I got the same results = rebooting
everytime it hit the splash screen.

So I'm on my third OS but screw that driver, I installed
the previous one and I'm fine.

So repair didn't work?
How can I get my old favorites and Outlook Express files
off the old OS drive? When I loaded the drive as a slave
and browsed for the Documents and settings/User/Local
Settings I got a permission error. How can I access the
old records? In Win2000 is was as easy as getting your
Idendities folder and reimporting it into Outlook Express.
