My floppy drive is going bonkers. Every few seconds,
Windows XP home is looking for something on the floppy
drive. If there is no disc in, the PC hangs for what
seems like ages. The only way to stop the loud buzzing
and constant hangs is to put a blank floppy disc in the
drive. Not a permanent solution.
It appears as if XP has set itself to look for EVERYTHING
on the A: drive first, then elsewhere.
How to I return this setting to C: (my hard drive)?
