You can get favourites and emails back without fixing the
old install.
Connect the old drive as secondary or with external box.
You'll probably find what you want in root\documents and
settings\yourloginname\
Search is easiest. Copy your favourites to current
favourites folder.
Email Microsoft outlook..... the pst file is what u
want. copy it to the boot drive and then add it to
outlook (tools services or options)
Outlook express. Use import from within the program.
While you are there delete the offending driver, might
fix the original problem
