Best suggestions are:
- Go to local library, computer store, or book store and look for a book
called "Windows XP for Dummies". No offense meant, although the title is a
bit offensive, they write very good (and reasonably cheap) books that are
"down to earth" so that almost anyone can comprehend the material.
- Check for local classes at adult extension programs run by local school
department, vocational schools, senior center (if you are a senior citizen),
etc. Often times they offer classes at low cost that can get you jump
started in understanding computer basics.
