OK. XP with Service Pack 1 and all the latest updates.
Blaster worm patch installed. All variants of the virus
have been scanned for and the system showed no infection.
The pc runs in safe mode just fine but in normal mode it
shuts itself off every 5 minutes. I know the Balster virus
reboots the pc but I'm experiancing a total shutdown. I've
checked the registry for all the blater files etc. but
none exist. The power supply must be OK as it runs in safe
mode. Anyone have any ideas on this one?
