I somehow got a folder 'MicroFinder' in 'Program Files'.
There is one file in it, 'mcf.exe'. I can't
delete 'mcf.exe' or 'MicroFinder' (the folder).

This comes up:
-----
Cannot delete mcf: Access is denied.

Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and
that the file is not currently in use.
-----

I'll try opening up the Windows Task Manager and seeing
if 'mcf' is in 'Applications' and I'll end it if it is
and try it. But don't plan on that working, please
help! Thanks.

Ryan,

This could be helpful. It's from the Matrox Users web site.

-- quote from the Matrox Users web site --

MCF Utility

Michel Verhagen has written a utility, MCF (153KB), that allows
specific frequencies to be set for the Matrox Video Tools TV tuner.

I've created a utility to set cable frequencies in Video Tools for the
RR G-Series. With the standard software and auto-scan, the RR software
didn't find all my TV channels, so I looked into how video tools
set/search these frequencies and created this utility. Previous
versions of the Video Tools allowed 69 TV channels, I just downloaded
the latest version of the Video Tools and it seems like this version
allows only 41 channels. I will adapt the utility to set any number of
channels when I find the time to do that...

Ryan,

In addition to my first post, visit the following site and read all of the
posts there, especially the ones from Tony Klein. It appears that your file
may be associated with spyware and hijacking;

Try the tool FreeFile.exe. It lets you find out which process is
locking a specified file and allow you to free the file by terminating
the locking process.
(The .Net Framework is required to run the file).

Download the program at:

Hope this helps,
