Nevermind, that worked, but I hope it was nothing
important, was it? How can you tell if something is a
Windows component or not?

I've never heard of the program so don't know if it's important or not. A
quick search on google.com brought up this link:
http://www.storagedrivers.com/drivers/44/44538.htm Mentions something about
a DOS driver for a Seagate drive. Not sure if that's a match to your file or
not.

Some additional detective work will usually uncover more info about a file:
--Try checking the properties of the item. If there is a version tab a
description of the file and other info can be viewed by clicking on the
different items in the list box.
--If part of the original XP installation, the date/time stamp on the file
would be an additional clue. Not always a solid measuring stick due to
updates but worth checking out.
