View Full Version : Cancelling a .net passport address on you user account

May 22nd 04, 11:23 PM
My partner has set up her .net passport email address on
our shared user account...so basically i can log into her
messenger and email without the need for her password, i
have tried every possible way to cancel this but there
seems to be no way of removing a .net passport on your
user account once its been entered..the only option ive
found is to change passport addresses??? is there a way
of removing this address from our user acct without
deleting the actual acct as it holds to much
information...any advice would be great..cheers

Greetings Stefan,

To remove this, click the Start Button, then click the Control Panel. Then, click User
Accounts in the Control Panel. Select the Windows XP account name you're currently logged
under, and then on the left side of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my Network
Passwords'. In the window that opens, click the Passport.Net\* (Passport) entry and click
'Remove'.
