If you are talking about saving your passwords in the
internet do this, go to start, control panel, internet
options, advanced, and restore defaults, then click apply
and ok.
To stop the modem go to, Start, control panel, system,
hardware, device manager, modems, double click on your
modem (or right click and go to properties), go to modem
on the tabs, change speaker volumn to off, click ok, exit
that screen, click ok again, and you should be done.
