I have a friend who is having trouble connecting. She has
a laptop and she recently replaced her modem driver
because her hard drive had recently crashed. Now when she
connects to the internet, she is online for about 5
minutes and then the computer will shut down. The
computer gives a message that it is shutting down because
of the remote call is invalid or something like that.
What can the problem be? I don't think it is the driver
because it is the correct one for her modem and laptop.
Thanks

Hello Tony,

Pay a visit to the following MS site for information about the Blaster =
worm:

http://www.microsoft.com/security/incident/blast.asp

And, before you ask, your friend is running the 32 bit version (I assume =
she has WinXP).

Hope this helps,
