rebooting problem

my PC keeps rebooting itself. i dont even get as far as
the desktop. i can not see it, all that happens is the
blue bar, moves accross the screen and then reboots

Odds are you have a worm/virus and odds are that virus would be the Sasser worm. The Sasser worm causes your machine to reboot itself basically at random. Run anti-virus if you have it, or download the remover from Microsoft's downloads section. I have
been told by people who have gotten it that there is an error message that pops up right before your system reboots. One trick is that as long as you don't click on ok/cancel or anything, in other words, leave the message up, the machine will not reboot.
That may give you some time to deal with it.
