Hello,

I have the same problem, but with two machines that are=20
both under Windows XP Pro SP1:
Machine A has a shared drive, accessible from the machine=20
B.
When I search files locally on the shared drive of=20
machine A, I get far more hits than when I search the=20
same drive through the network from machine B.
Yet this is not an access rights problem: If I copy the=20
whole tree from A to B, and search it locally on B it=20
works fine.

Side question: Is it possible to revert to the Windows=20
2000 search assistant? It was far better than the one in=20
Windows XP!!!
