i have a win XP home edition and my combo drive has
stopped working. When i load windows and go into My
computer i do not see my combo drive anymore. i have
checked in device manager and it tells me the device has
a problem with the registry and has a CODE 19. i have
tried uninstalling and reinstalling but to know avail. i
have removed the device and installed freshly after
downloading the driver and installing from the C prompt,
i think it is must be in the registry that it is failing.
Where do i go to look ?
i have checked for virus even up to before writing this
but still no luck
I hope someone can help me
