Can someone explain what these are in the system configuration utility, in
the start-up section.
I don't recognize a lot of them here are a few
Not sure what Start-up Item, Command, and Location are and why they are
there. I have been having problems with my registry and items in device
manager marked Non-plug and play, could this be part of it:
Start-up Item Command

zhaoifa zhaoifa.exe

dumprep 0 -k %systemroot%\systerm32\dumprep 0 -k

wfxsnt 40 wfxsnt 40.exe

ctfmon C:\WINDOWS\System32\ctfmon.exe

Locations:

HKCU

HKLM

Common Start-up
SOFTWARE

Thank you
You people are very much appreciated by many

My friend, you have a lot to learn.

Here's your first lesson: Do not cross-post without a very good reason to do
so. It's considered rude. Your question is not a good reason. And when you
feel you must cross-post, use the smallest number of groups.

Second lesson: Don't try to edit your registry unless you know exactly what
you're doing and why.

Device Manager reports on the configuration of your hardware devices. The
Startup tab of the System Configuration Utility reports on the programs that
start when your computer starts.

'Startup Item' is simply the name given to a program that starts when your
computer starts. 'Command' is the command line for the item. 'Location'
tells you what causes the program to start - the registry, the Startup
folder, etc.

To interpret the meaning of a startup item, you can do what we do: Search
for it on the Internet. If you can't find it on the Internet (and you're
spelling it correctly) you should suspect that it's adware or spyware.

Zhaoifa.exe and wfxsnt40.exe are possibly adware or spyware. To learn about
ctfmon.exe, read this:

"OFFXP: What Is CTFMON and What Does It Do?"

'Startup Item' is simply the item's name
