View Full Version : IE window out of position when maximized

For some reason, when I open a Internet Explorer window and maximize it, it
is positioned a little too low on the screen. The scroll bar almost
disappears at the bottom and I can see a bar of the desktop along the top.

Everything else positions correctly when I maximize it - Windows Explorer,
Outlook Express, other programs, etc. Only the Internet Explorer is out of
position.

I'd appreciate any suggestions for moving this back into place. Thanks in
advance.

Show me a man who is a good loser and I'll show you a man who is playing
golf with his boss.

With only the one window open that is causing the problem, a faster and
sure-fire method is to Right click on the taskbar and just select "tile
windows horizontally." With only one window in the taskbar, that window will
be maximized and its setting will be remembered after it is closed. In fact,
if only one window is open, there is no need to take the extra time time to
drag edges. See if this will work for your problem.

My thanks to you both. I'll give your suggestions a try.
