I am Frenchman residing in a US and I keep using my
French keyboard which lets me deal with diacritic
characters (circumflexes, umlauts, and other accents). I
upgraded my XP on the 8th of June and now these
characters won't work. I tried to download an 'enriched'
keyboard to no avail. The rest of the keys works just
fine. Any suggestion? Thanks to send ideas to my US e-
mail or to .

Hi,

Control Panel/Regional and Language Options/Languages tab, click "details".
You likely need to change the installed keyboard language.
