microphone, recorder?

where can i get software that will let me save from a
microphone input?

i used to have creative recorder with windows 98, but now
that i have windows xp it says that it is not compatable.

update creative recorder for their website. Mine runs fine on XP. As well,
there's also sound recorder built into XP.

Ask Creative to send you the disk for XP. RECORDER works fine here.
