Posts not appearing?

Why do some of my posts or replies sent to this and other groups seem to
simply disappear, where do they go to?

Most of them do appear but occasionally one won't, just wondering why.

Posts can get lost by the msnews.microsoft.com machine that received
them before they are replicated across the cluster that MS uses to serve
as msnews. This is rare. There are also occasional instances where
someone can see posts that others can't see. If you are using an ISP
newsfeed, then there are lots of reasons why posts may not appear.
