I have just bought a Panasonic GS120 and have recorded my
fist few feet of DV.
I have uploaded it to Movie maker and find I have
exterior noise from passing traffic etc. I have tried to
put a commentry on the tape but seem to be unable to over
dub the original sounds. How can I replace this noise
with commentry please? Thanks.

Not sure if this is the answer you are looking for from the question.
You can mute the video audio by right clicking on it and selecting mute,
then add a commentary track to the piece.
