I am trying to install a Linksys wireless PC card in a
brand new Dell laptop... (XP PRO)... the system finds the
card, I point to the drivers, and the system tells me the
card is unable to start.

The card is a Linksys WPC55AG.

The system never loads the "Wireless Configuration"
service, which is supposed to pop up after the device
drivers are loaded.

I have:
1. Downloaded the newest drivers for the device
2. Made sure that the Wireless configuration service is
started
3. Loaded and unloaded the device drivers several times
with reboot also

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Some of the wireless devices require the Universal Plug and Play and SSDP
Discovery services to be enabled as well.
