I just gave the myie2 tabbed browsing front end of ie6 a try. One problem
I'm having is that the browser didn't show up as a selectable option in the
customize start menu internet browser drop down box.
Prior to that I had a slight problem with the same default browser feature.
Firefox was set as my default and I uninstalled it. That left me with the
firefox entry left over in the start menu and a broken icon at the top for
the browser. Reinstalling Firefox cleared that up, but I still have this
mysterious problem where myie2 won't show up as an option.
Here's my thread at the MyIE2 forum. Nobody seems to have any clue why this
happened. I figured I might have better luck in a windows XP newsgroup.
How do I get this browser to show up in the default drop down list? Any
good way to add it manually? Is there something that needs to be reset?
It feels like something is just stuck and needs a refresh.
